Waterlands is located on a private peninsula in a lagoon, with an open channel to the Caribbean Sea and the Bay of Bonaire. A boat ride from Waterlands’ several small docks to open sea is only 2 minutes!
The resort is situated just south of Kralendijk, the capital of Bonaire. It’s a small peaceful town, with many nice restaurants, a beautiful sea promenade, historical buildings and shops. To get there by car will take 3 minutes (parking included!) and approximately 5-10 minutes if you decide to walk. All major dive and snorkel sites, scattered along the whole leeward coastline are in close vicinity.
East, north and west coast of the peninsula are bordering the lagoon. The south border walls in the entire resort property.
Fourteen of the total of only 24 cottages are water- and beachfront, featuring superb views and the ultimate ‘living on a tropical island’ feeling! The remaining ten cottages are tucked away in the lush tropical garden.
All cottages are privately owned on a privately registered parcel of long lease land. All remaining land is commonly owned by the Waterlands Owners Association, thus guaranteeing ever lasting privacy and upkeep.
